OPФOR: Not opposition, but oppositional.
OPФOR is the official security, intelligence and strategic operations body of the Non-Aligned Movement & Allies (NAM&A). It exists to protect, advance, and secure the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and strategic independence of member states and allies.
Is OPФOR a defensive organisation?
No. While defence remains one of the primary functions when it comes down to the member states and allies, OPФOR is also mandated to act internationally to safeguard the political, economic, diplomatic, and national interests of member republics and nations. This includes but isn’t limited to securing global corridors, embassies, and national infrastructure abroad, strategic presence operations, conflict prevention, intelligence coordination and more.
Is OPФOR a military alliance?
No. It is a coordinated operational command structure that supports NAM&A member states in developing and exercising sovereign defence capabilities, collective security, and international strategic operations — without subordination to external blocs or superpowers.
Which countries are part of OPФOR?
Only recognised members of the Non-Aligned Movement & Allies (NAM&A) may participate in OPФOR. A full list of participating states is available through the General Secretariat upon request.
Does OPФOR engage in foreign wars?
No. OPФOR does not engage in offensive wars, foreign occupations, or regime change operations.
However, it is authorised to act in:
- Defence of allied territories or assets abroad
- Host nation requests under mutual security pacts
- Protection of Non-Aligned civilian populations in unstable zones
- Enforcement of international non-interference principles
- Countermeasures against hostile operations targeting NAM&A members
What’s the relationships between OPФOR and United Nations, NATO and EU?
OPФOR engages constructively with international institutions. OPФOR does not submit to any of NATO’s doctrine, EU defence and offence agendas or any foreign security architecture that violates the principle of non-alignment.
